Fall 2023

In my college course, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with 27 fellow students to launch a t-shirt pop-up shop as our final project. This immersive experience combined creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurship, allowing us to apply our design skills in a real-world setting.

The class was divided into multiple teams, each responsible for different aspects of the shop, including social media marketing, shop layout, and print materials. I was part of the branding team, where we focused on creating a cohesive visual identity for our pop-up. Each student started by designing 40 logos, which sparked an engaging process of critique and refinement. After two rounds of voting, we narrowed it down to five standout logos to represent the brand, including my own.

In addition to logo design, we developed a full suite of branding materials, including a catalog and clothing tags, ensuring a consistent and appealing look across all touchpoints. This project taught me valuable lessons in collaboration, creative problem-solving, and the importance of strong branding. It was rewarding to see our hard work culminate in a successful event where our vinyl t-shirts not only reflected our unique designs but also fostered a sense of community and creativity among us. All 250+ t-shirts were sold within 2 hours at the GLOM pop-up shop, making it the most successful pop-up shop for this course in nearly 10 years, according to our professor.
